Concern India Foundation is a Non-Profit Public Charitable trust which extends Financial & Non-Financial support to grass root level NGO’s working in the area of Education, Health & Community Development since 1991 throughout India. Concern India works towards “Helping People, Help Themselves” by making the disadvantaged self-reliant & enabling them to lead a life of dignity.

 Summary:   

The person will be responsible for the activities of the project from end to end based on the programme objectives.

Planning: 

• Preparing the plan for the entire year based on the objectives of the project
• Monitoring of the Infrastructure work in schools, lakes, village solar street lights, RO water filter, Community hubs, Livelihood -SHG and Intervention with farmers 
• Planning of the project activities with the project coordinators: weekly plans based on project activities.
• Planning of community engagement initiatives – community group meetings with specific agendas and outcomes.
• Planning the surveys (Baseline, Endpoint, etc.) and the intervention based on the survey findings.

Program Delivery and Implementation:

• Responsible for ensuring a very high quality of program delivery at the ground level with accurate and complete documentation.
• Ensure the project stays aligned with its objectives and manage the Management Information
• System (MIS) to effectively track progress.
• Prepare project monthly reports and quarterly reports in a timely manner.
• Generate reports that present both qualitative and quantitative project data, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

Collaborating with various Stakeholders:

• Responsible to collaborate with various stakeholders of the project
• Build rapport and coordinate with all project stakeholders i.e. related Government department, Village panchayat president, Irrigation department, PDOs and Community leaders. 
• Impact Monitoring and Analysis
• The Project manager has to have an overall picture of the Impact of the Programme through regular visits and interaction with the school HMs, community leaders, panchayat leaders etc, 
• Documentation of case studies and success stories.
• Monitoring and Documentation of impact- Village wise 
• Monitoring and Documentation of impact – Changes in the schools and villages 
• Monitoring Documentation of impact – Changes in the Community Involvement.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Support comprehensive project documentation, including the preparation of reports, collection of inputs, capturing of photographs, and detailed analysis.
• Generate reports that present both qualitative and quantitative project data, providing valuable insights and recommendations.

Additional Support

• Assist with any other project-related needs, ensuring smooth operations across all aspects.
• Willing to travel extensively - About 70% of the time or as per the Organisation requirements 

The candidate should have completed a Master in Social Work (MSW) or

equivalent post graduate degree.

Experience

• The candidate should have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in planning, monitoring and evaluation (PME) of programmes.
• Willing to travel extensively within the state.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively build and manage professional relationships with technical experts and other partners.
• Project management skills, including budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation.

• Networking skills and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work flexibly in conflicting priorities and willing to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
