Position Overview
The Field Coordinator position offers an opportunity to drive ground-level implementation of solar energy programs in Bihar. The role involves community engagement, data collection, and monitoring of solar projects, with a focus on ensuring successful adoption of renewable energy solutions at the grassroots level.
Key Responsibilities
The selected intern will engage in the following areas:
Field Activities
Conduct regular field visits to engage with identified stakeholders from the renewable energy sector
Support implementation of awareness programs
Facilitate community meetings and discussions
Document field-level observations and learnings
Data Collection and Reporting
Collect and verify field data for project implementation
Maintain detailed records of site visits and activities
Prepare regular field reports and updates
Support impact assessment activities
Project Support
Identify potential beneficiaries for solar projects
Assist in preliminary site assessments
Support post-installation monitoring
Coordinate with local authorities and community leader
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Academic exposure to rural development
Understanding of renewable energy basics
Technical Knowledge
Experience in field operations and stakeholder engagement
Familiarity with data collection methods
Basic computer skills for documentation
Experience in community engagement
