JOB SUMMARY
The STEM/Content Resource Person (Consultant) at TLF will be responsible for the program management for its assigned locations under Gujarat. S/He will be responsible for imparting training to master trainers and pre- service/in-service teachers in various DIETs and will be part of state curriculum development team. There would be need based trips to Gandhinagar for supporting the mission. High level of liaison and networking at the district and the state level will be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identify and support in designing activity based and ICT based educational interventions.
Regular visits to assigned DIETs to ensure effective implementation of the training programs, gauge its challenges and solve issues appropriately.
S/He will be responsible for imparting training on techno-pedagogy and STEM methodology to master trainers and pre-service/in-service teachers in various DIETs.
S/He will be part of state curriculum/content development team.
Responsible to maintain the MIS of the program.
Networking with other district officials and coordination with the DEOs and DIET principals to update about the content of the training programs.
Responsible to submit monthly reports to the Project Manager based on the key deliverables both financial and programmatic related to content.
Liaison with district and state functionaries and responsible for implementation of STEM hands on trainings.
Responsible to bring in innovative ideas and to create visibility of the programme at district and state level.
Support in the development of STEM kit with facilitator manual, worksheets and videos with the help of team for STEM.
Provide support in developing STEM material in line with school curriculum.
Responsible for field visits to conduct STEM Workshops for Science & Math teachers of Gujarat.
Assisting Project Manager on any other innovative idea implementation for STEM.
Any other work related to STEM education as assigned by the Project Manager/the Regional manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
Post graduation in science / technology / education with 2 – 3 years of experience in the relevant sector (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Teachers having extensive teaching and content development experience will be preferred.

Good programme knowledge and conversant with emerging technologies in the development sector.
Skills in focusing on programme quality and positive approach in resolving challenges.
Good data analysis skills with programme planning and design, monitoring and evaluation frameworks and techniques.

Ability to be adaptable and flexible to change.
Ability to travel extensively.
