About Sanmat
Sanmat is a non-profit organization established in 2007 with a mission to empower socio-economically vulnerable and marginalized communities through sustainable initiatives in health, education, and livelihood development. We integrate gender equity and climate resilience into all our programs.
Our approach focuses on bridging gaps in governance and policy implementation by collaborating closely with government departments. Through process innovation and high-quality implementation, we strive to create lasting impacts.
Currently, we are operational across six Indian states: Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
Role Overview
Sanmat invites passionate individuals to join us as Tribal Development Fellows. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with our senior management team and contribute to two critical focus areas.
1. Support Communitization Efforts:
Facilitate Sanmat's initiatives for effective implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana, enhancing community participation and ensuring sustainable outcomes.
2. Innovative Pedagogy Development:
Design and facilitate creative teaching methods to enhance the learning and development of tribal children in residential schools. These schools operate under the Office of the Tribal Welfare Commissioner, Government of Jharkhand, and are managed by Sanmat.

Application Process
Getting started is simple and thorough, ensuring we find the best fit for our team. Here’s how it works:

2. Written Assignment: Shortlisted candidates will receive a written assignment. You will have one day to complete and submit it after receiving the details.
3. Final Interviews: Candidates who ace the assignment will move to the final round of interviews to join the team.
Stipend: As part of this opportunity, you will receive a monthly stipend of ₹18,000 to support your journey with us.
