Founder’s Intern

THE ROLE

The Founder’s intern is a young, dynamic individual seeking exposure to a wide range of projects. You'll work directly with the Founder(s) and senior leadership team of Sanjhi Sikhiya on high-priority organizational projects. Former interns have transitioned to impactful full-time roles. This opportunity is ideal for those aspiring to build their own organization in the future.

Responsibilities:

Position: Founder’s Intern
Bathinda . Fatehgarh Sahib . Mohali . Patiala . Rupnagar . San Francisco

• Supporting the founder(s) in executing the organization’s vision and strategic initiatives by conducting research and drafting documents.
• 
  Streamlining processes and introducing new systems to enhance the experience of team members and external stakeholders.
   
• Building and maintaining relationships with partners, donors, and other key stakeholders.
• Contributing to the ideation and execution of new initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Being adaptable and ready to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the evolving needs of the founder's initiatives.

Experience Requirements:

Values, Competencies and Skills:

• Graduate of a bachelor's or master's program in relevant fields such as international development, social sciences, public policy, or related disciplines. Applications from current university students are welcome.
• Previous leadership experience and comfort with end-to-end project ownership.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize information and generate insights.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and familiarity with online research tools and platforms.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Comfort with handling big data to inform decision-making.
