We partner with Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) and girls' schools in Haryana and Karnataka and are expanding our reach in Uttar Pradesh through collaborations.

Job Summary:
The Tech Educator will be a vital member of the team, playing a crucial role in the successful implementation of our Tech program and specific projects within it, particularly the AI Skilling Initiative. The Tech Educator will be primarily responsible for facilitating training sessions on AI fundamentals, supervising and providing ongoing support to Master Trainers and ensuring the high quality of training delivery. Also, the role involves report writing, data management and contributing to SwaTaleem Foundation's broader technology-driven programs. This position demands a proactive and highly organized individual with strong facilitation, training and coordination skills, coupled with a deep commitment to achieving effective project and program outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Training Facilitation: Design and facilitate engaging and effective training sessions on AI fundamentals for Master Trainers and potentially other beneficiaries.
- Master Trainer Supervision: Supervise training sessions delivered by Master Trainers, ensuring strict adherence to the established curriculum, pedagogical approaches and quality benchmarks.
- Hand Holding and Mentorship: Provide continuous handholding support, mentorship and constructive feedback to Master Trainers, offering guidance on facilitation techniques, effective classroom management strategies and addressing participant queries effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of training sessions through observations, feedback sessions and data analysis to ensure quality and identify areas for continuous improvement in Master Trainer delivery.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit timely, accurate and comprehensive reports on training progress, participant outcomes, challenges faced, and project activities, adhering to reporting formats and timelines.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate and efficient data collection and entry related to training participants, attendance, performance and feedback. Maintain well-organized records and databases.
- Project Support: Support the Project Lead in the overall project management, including effective coordination with partner organizations, relevant stakeholders and external vendors.
- Technology Program Support: Provide support to other SwaTaleem Foundation programs within the technology vertical, such as Tab Labs, IVRS initiatives and other digital learning endeavors, as and when required.
- Travel: Be willing and able to travel to project implementation sites in Haryana and potentially other locations as per project needs.
- The person should be willing to support the organization, wherever needed beyond the role too.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in designing and delivering training programs, facilitating workshops or engaging in capacity-building initiatives, preferably within the education sector.
- Trainer Supervision: Proven experience in effectively supervising, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback to trainers or facilitators.
- Pedagogical Knowledge: Strong understanding of adult learning principles, effective training methodologies and participatory facilitation techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Reporting and Data Skills: Strong report writing, meticulous documentation and proficient data management skills, including experience with data entry and basic analysis.
- Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as an integral part of a dynamic team.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Hindi and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- AI Familiarity (Desirable): Familiarity with basic Artificial Intelligence concepts and technologies is a desirable asset.
- Non-profit Experience (Advantage): Prior experience working in the non-profit sector or with educational interventions is considered an advantage, especially with exposure to teacher training programs.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in dynamic environments
- Strong written communication skills with experience in data collection and reporting
Reporting:
The Tech Educator will report directly to the Project Lead. This is a contractual position from June 2025 to December 2026.
Salary:
The remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, in the range of Rs 45,000– Rs 55,000 per month. Travel costs will be additional and reimbursed separately.
