Lead field-based and policy-oriented programmes on forest and wildlife conservation.
Coordinate research, analysis, documentation including report and book writing on natural heritage, biodiversity, forest rights, ecological restoration, and human-wildlife interface.
Design interventions on ecosystem-based conservation and climate-resilient forest management.
Engage with government bodies, local communities, academic institutions, and civil society.
Supervise and guide a team of researchers, field staff, and conservation practitioners.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Postgraduate degree in Natural Resource Management, Forestry, Wildlife, Environmental Science, Ecology, or related fields. Ph.D. desirable.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in forest and wildlife-related projects with demonstrated leadership in programme design, implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong understanding of national and international conservation frameworks.
Excellent writing skills, research, and policy analysis capabilities.
Experience of working with forest-dwelling communities, and in tiger reserves and other protected areas.
