About the Role

As an M&E Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality program implementation through monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. You’ll develop tools to capture and analyze data, track progress, and generate insights to enhance program outcomes. By compiling and sharing reports with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll contribute to evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement of program designs.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Develop robust reporting tools and assessments aligned with program Logical Frameworks and reporting needs.
  • Provide training and technical assistance on data collection, monitoring, and reporting processes to staff and implementation partners.
  • Track project activities, measure progress toward outputs and outcomes, and provide actionable insights.
  • Conduct regular site visits for process monitoring and stakeholder feedback, preparing detailed reports on findings.
  • Lead the preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reports, including grant-related documentation.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of monitoring systems, including fieldwork, data collection, and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with state program teams for user testing of monitoring tools, assessments, and dashboards, sharing feedback with the central M&E team.

Evaluations, Sharing, and Learning

  • Support external evaluations, such as baseline and endline studies, including data collection, analysis, and report development in coordination with the Evaluation and Research lead.
  • Assist the State Lead in conducting detailed program review meetings with team members.
  • Collaborate with the central M&E team to build evidence-based decision-making systems and train state teams on these techniques.
  • Contribute to the creation of case studies, impact briefs, and other program documentation for broader dissemination.

Relationship Management

  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including funders, evaluation organizations, and collaborative partners.
  • Strengthen relationships to ensure seamless monitoring and evaluation processes.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation within a development organization.
  • Proficiency in creating M&E frameworks, tools, and processes.
  • Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Experience with survey/reporting platforms such as ODK, KoboCollect, or Survey CTO.
  • Familiarity with statistical tools like SPSS or Stata (preferred).
  • Proven ability to produce compelling, data-driven reports.
  • Excellent logical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • A passion for exploring innovative methods to capture program impact and learnings.

Salary: The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 58,000/- per month (cost to company) ( The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate)
