Job Description:
Position Overview: The Manager Operations & Partnership will plays a pivotal role in onboarding
new clients and ensuring the successful planning, implementation, and monitoring of our various
projects. This position requires a passionate and organized individual who can facilitate effective
communication, manage project timelines, and foster collaboration among team members, partners,
and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Development:
Collaborate with other team to define project scope, objectives, and
deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource
allocation.
2. Project Implementation:
Oversee the day-to-day execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and
budgets.
Coordinate with project teams, partners, and volunteers to ensure smooth project
operations.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to
address them.
3. Strategic Planning
Develop and implement strategies to identify, target, and secure corporate
partnerships that align with organizational objectives.
4. Relationship Management
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential corporate
partners to ensure long-term engagement and mutual benefit.
5. Proposal Development
Create compelling partnership proposals, presentations, and tailored solutions that
address the unique needs and goals of corporate partners.
6. Performance Tracking
Monitor and analyse partnership outcomes using metrics and KPIs, providing
regular reports to stakeholders and recommending improvements.
7. Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with project partners, funders, and other
stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between the NGO and external collaborators, ensuring effective
communication.
8. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, and
records.
Prepare and submit regular progressreportsto program managers and funders.
9. Budget Management
Assist in budget development and tracking, ensuring that projects are delivered
within budget.
Monitor expenses and review financial reports to identify any discrepancies.
10. Resource Mobilization:
Support fundraising efforts by assisting in proposal writing and donor
communication.
Identify potential funding opportunities and partnerships to support project
sustainability.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g.,socialsciences, international development).
Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the NGO
sector.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple
tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of grant writing and fundraising is a plus.
