Data Intern

Position Description
DPIC India is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to support (i) creation of hub for modern data analytics and (ii) training and capacity building initiatives. 

Key responsibilities are outlined below.

1. Clean, organize, and validate administrative datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
2. Create visualizations and reports to communicate data-driven insights.
3. Support a stocktaking exercise of data collection and management systems/infrastructure
across select line departments including MIS, dashboards, decision support system (DSS)
4. For each line department, list the datasets available in digitized form and produce a brief description of each dataset.

Competencies

• Proficiency in data cleaning and analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Stata).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
• Solid understanding of the entire “data stack”, including the tools and technologies used in data management, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
