Innovators in Health (IIH) was founded by alumni of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to ensure that rural communities have access to world-class healthcare. IIH has been in partnership with leading national and international foundations including the Prajnopaya Foundation, Tata Trusts, India Health Fund, Stop TB Partnership, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Nalanda Charitable Foundation, Azim Premji Foundation and HCL Foundation to improve Tuberculosis (TB) treatment and maternal and new-born health (MNH) in rural Bihar. IIH has close to doubled access to care in TB, and reduced neonatal mortality by more than a third. It has won numerous awards and is internationally recognized for its work in TB.

Role

The job requires working in a team to design and implement innovative interventions in TB, and scale them to 1000s of beneficiaries a year. Project Managers oversee service delivery, ensure data entry compliance, mobilize communities, interact with stakeholders, strengthen the grassroots staff, form an efficient team that minimizes delays, are able to produce improved result, and write progress reports. PMs are also expected to represent the organization in stakeholder meetings, liaisoning with concerned Government Departments and NGO forum, both locally and internationally. Together, a group of Project Managers oversee a staff of about 150.

Who do we look for?

Freshers as well as candidates with less than 3 years of experience and must be willing to work in our Tuberculosis Control Program.

Past hires have been early-career professionals passionate about hands-on service delivery in rural areas through extensive field-work. The selected professional/s will be based in Samastipur, Bihar.

Mandatory requirements include fluency in written and spoken English and Hindi, and in Microsoft Office. We seek candidates with an analytical bent of mind who can help in translating raw data into valuable programmatic insights. Candidates must be able to write and present well.
