We are looking for a full-time Program Manager, based in Bangalore, to assist the SVP Bangalore Chapter CEO.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-7 years of work experience as a full-time employee, preferably in the development sector. If not from the development sector, should have been in a customer facing role.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to inspire a wide range of stakeholders to action
  • The confidence to interact with senior corporate and non-profit leaders
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision in a SMALL but close knit team   A mature & professional attitude and an “ownership” mindset
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • A keen interest in technology and tools for efficient work management. Must know how to work on Canva, G-suite tools
  • An Undergraduate Degree in any field of study but a PASSION to be part of the non- profit sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner Engagement:

Support the Chapter CEO in the partner onboarding process

Build relationships with SVP Bangalore partners and position yourself as the “go-to” resource person when they need assistance

Plan and attend field visits for our partners

 Assist in setting an engaging and inspiring agenda for monthly partner meetings   Design engaging and educational opportunities for partners and NGOs

Take ownership of maintaining partner dashboards (at the Chapter and All-India level) and ensure timely partner communications and compliances

NGO Portfolio Support (Need Basis):

Assist our portfolio of NGOs during the course of SVP engagement, including maintaining NGO dashboards (at the Chapter and All-India level) and documents, as and when necessary.

Ensure timely disbursal of funds and complete the paperwork required for this

Research and assist in designing programs & conducting activities that can benefit the portfolio of NGOs, including tracking ecosystem opportunities.

Chapter Management, Communication & Event Support:

Take part in various chapter committee meetings and be responsible for respective work flows

Support the end to end grant process by maintaining a list of prospective NGOs, and be part of related committees

Regularly interact with SVP NGOs to uncover areas which need support and connect such NGOs to resources and partners within SVP Bangalore

Curate inspiring stories of partners and NGOs for monthly newsletters Design collaterals for all Chapter related activities

Ensure Chapter updates are regularly posted on SVP India website & social media handles Capture & catalogue photos and videos of events, meetings and field visits

Assist in managing Chapter financial transactions and MIS Assist in establishing external partnerships

Support with planning and execution of fundraising and other events (e.g. Setu)
