Hiring Alert: Junior Researcher – Land and Water Management (Agriculture) | WOTR Location: Pune 

Are you passionate about land and water conservation, sustainable agriculture, and driving impact at the grassroots level?

We seek a motivated Junior Researcher to support land and water management initiatives within agricultural and watershed development programs.

As a Junior Researcher you will assist in designing and evaluating land and water conservation practices, conduct field surveys, soil and water sampling, and hydrological monitoring, support data collection and analysis, contribute to technical reports and research outputs, help organise training, field demos, and stakeholder workshops.

You’re an excellent fit for this role if you have a Master’s Degree in Agriculture, Water Resources, Environmental Science, or related field. Knowledge of sustainable land management, watershed development, and agricultural practices. Experience with fieldwork, data collection, and analysis. Ability and willingness to travel to rural field sites as per the project needs. 
Knowledge of carbon sequestration, emission reduction and GHG assessment tools/techniques is an advantage.
