Associate (Agriculture)

We are seeking a committed and driven Associate (Agriculture) to join our growing team focused on agrivoltaics — the innovative synergy between solar energy and sustainable agriculture. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of integrating renewable energy with modern agricultural practices to shape resilient, productive ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support research initiatives on agrivoltaics, including crop performance under solar panels, water-use efficiency, and land productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders (farmers, solar developers, researchers) to co-develop site-specific agrivoltaic solutions.
  • Oversee and manage field trials or pilot projects, ensuring timely data collection, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Analyse field and technical data, prepare insights, and contribute to evidence-based decision-making.
  • Draft and review technical reports, policy briefs, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate workshops, stakeholder consultations, and knowledge-sharing events in the renewable energy and sustainable agriculture ecosystem.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, government policies, and global trends in agrivoltaics and climate-smart agriculture.

Desired Qualifications

  1. Educational Background
  •  Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or related disciplines.

       2. Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of agricultural systems, crop planning, and soil-water management.
  • Interest or experience in solar energy applications in agriculture (agrivoltaics or related domains) for 1-2 years.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, research methodologies, and report writing.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, GIS tools, or agri-data software will be an advantage.
