District Supervisor-Government School Project

Job Location : Dhekiajuli
The Job description for the role is as follows:
As the District Supervisor ,you would be responsible the following:
- Supervise and oversee the reform and implementation of the Akshar Education Model in 5 Government Schools in Dhekiajuli District of Assam
- Collaborate with the School Heads, Leadership Team at Akshar, Akshar Coordinators in Dhekiajuli to understand requirements and plan the activities in the School for the implementation of the Akshar Program
- Supervise a team of 5 Akshar Coordinators and 10 Junior Social Workers to ensure smooth implementation of the Akshar Education Model in the Government Schools
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to Plan and strategize for the implementation of the program in the Government Schools
- Build and maintain good relations with the School Heads, Government Teachers and Staff, Government Officials and other stakeholders
Required:
- Reading, Writing and speaking proficiency of English
- Speaking proficiency in Assamese is good to have.
Experience:
- At Least 5-6 years work experience working in Educational Program/NGO/Fellowship/Program Management
- Post Graduation in Education/Management/Social Sciences(Good to have)
- Atleast 2-3 years experience in leadership/team management in official capacity
- Excellent Interpersonal and communication Skills
- Teacher Training experience(Good to have)
