Project Summary:
Advancing Women Enterprise (AWE) Project is a new initiative of ACCESS to promote women's enterprise and help them realise their potential for socio-economic empowerment and sustainable business growth through capacity building, business improvement and peer learning. Under the project, 6000 women micro-entrepreneurs in urban and peri-urban areas of Delhi and selected districts of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh (near to Delhi) will be identified and engaged for building their business skills and to help them upscale their enterprises. Training and capacity building will be undertaken using a set of innovative training resources. The specific objectives of the project are to: advance access to financial services and entitlements among women micro-entrepreneurs through financial literacy, enhance women entrepreneurs’ business efficiency and competitiveness for improving revenue and profit and enhance women’s decision making, mobility, and negotiation skills.

Implementation Districts: Delhi: All districts; Haryana: Faridabad, Gurugram, Sonipat, Jhajjar, Nuh, Rewari, Palwal; Uttar Pradesh: Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Baghpat, Hapur

Position Summary:
In this context, ACCESS is inviting applications from self-driven professionals who are interested to take on the role of Cluster Coordinator / Coordinator and delivering against the objectives of the project. The Coordinator(s) will be responsible for mobilising, and engaging project participants in designated clusters reaching out to 270-330 women entrepreneurs (Cohort-wise) as per the objectives and deliverables of the project.

Responsibilities:
• Implement project activities with 270-330 women entrepreneurs in each Cohort (about 600 entrepreneurs in the project duration) in specified project districts in timely manner and with high quality standard.
• Prepare and submit monthly action plan, weekly progress update and monthly progress report to Sr. Project Coordinator/Manager.
• Identify and mobilize women entrepreneurs to register for the programme and subsequently participate in workshops and training sessions (on themes of enterprise development, financial and digital literacy, and gender etc.).
• Conduct follow-up of training and seek feedback through physical visits and calls to project participants and extend hand-holding support to ensure improved outcomes.
• Maintain individual level data of participating women enterprises on project MIS to track project progress as per identified indicators.
• Form and manage peer groups/clubs of registered women entrepreneurs and mobilise them for monthly meetings for peer learning and dissemination of educational and training videos and messages.
• Engage with government department and financial institutions to leverage financial assistance for the women- owned enterprises in convergence with ongoing government schemes / programme (like PMFME, SEP, PMEGP etc.). Facilitation to the women entrepreneurs in loan application and documentation process.
• Engage with other local level stakeholders, such as distributors, whole-sellers, traders associations etc., to ensure business services are efficiently availed by participating women enterprises.
• Coordinate with participating women enterprises to map business performance, business skills and adoption of business practices.
• Document project activities through photographs and collect data for beneficiary case-studies.
• Participate in fortnightly and monthly project review meetings.
• Work as per the guidelines of project and organization.
• Implement other tasks assigned by Project Lead OR Head Office as per project requirements from time to time.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelors degree from any recognized university.
• Atleast 2 years of experience in livelihood sector and community mobilization and hand-holding.

Skills and Competencies:
• Communication & Community Mobilisation

Language Proficiency:
• Good command over local language (Hindi etc.) and ability to understand-read-write English
• Working ability to understand-read-write English

Travel Requirement:
• Willingness to travel extensively, within the allotted project sub-clusters, as required for implementing the project efficiently.

Other Requirement:
• Preferably, must own 2-wheeler vehicle (and valid license) that can be deployed for local travelling for project implementation.

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is between Rs. 25000 – Rs. 30000
