Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Daily teaching of assigned subject
  • Preparing students for the NIOS Grade 10 Accountancy paper 
  • Preparing timely lesson plans and implementing them
  • Student assessments and curriculum planning
  • Interacting with family to address specific issues, when necessary
  • Organising parents-teachers’ meetings

Beliefs, Attitude, Skills and Knowledge Requirements

  • Well versed with Accountancy as a subject
  • Ability to teach Accounts in a simple and clear manner
  • Values collaborative ways of working, both within teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Highly proactive
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English and Hindi
  • Good time management skills. 
  • Basic skills in MS Office, Excel

Qualifications and Traits

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in with Accountancy as concentration
  • 2 years in teaching Accounts or freshers with a zest for teaching and learning!
  • While work experience as teacher is an asset; any other work experience will be noted
  • Should be of pleasing personality, good conversational skills with clarity of thought
  • Must show an open mind and a willingness to learn new methods
  • Must be physically fit and agile
  • Able to put in full hours
  • Willing to attend training outside centre and out station if necessary
