At CITTA India, we believe that lasting change begins with respect, dignity, and a deep connection to the community. We are guided by the belief that when girls are empowered, entire societies are transformed.

Our flagship initiative, the Rajkumari Ratnavati Girls’ School, started its operations in February 2022 as part of the GYAAN Center project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Situated in the heart of the Thar Desert, the school offers free quality education, safe transport, nutritious meals, and a supportive environment where learning is joyful, and every girl feels valued, confident, and free to dream.

Using an activity-based learning approach, students develop academic skills, creativity, and confidence while remaining connected to their cultural heritage. Beyond academics, the school is linked to the Women’s Cooperative—a vibrant hub where local artisans preserve traditional crafts, gain financial independence, and share their heritage with pride.
