About the Role:
We are seeking a Specialist – Climate Action, to assist impactful initiatives across India in strengthening environmental resilience and promoting sustainable practices. This role is pivotal in enhancing biodiversity and adaptive capacity in the face of climate change.

Responsibilities: 
- Develop, implement, and refine climate resilience strategies across diverse geographic regions
- Design and oversee nationwide projects aimed at improving ecological sustainability
- Conduct comprehensive research and assessments to evaluate impacts and needs related to climate resilience across different Indian ecosystems
- Facilitate collaboration with local communities, stakeholders, and authorities nationwide to ensure the success of resilience initiatives
- Craft compelling proposals for project funding and stakeholder engagement on a national scale
- Monitor outcomes, assess impacts, and implement adaptive management practices
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to convey project achievements and insights to internal and external stakeholders across India

Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Environmental Science, Climate Studies, Ecology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of proven experience in climate resilience and sustainable practices, preferably with a national focus
- Strong expertise in climate adaptation, conservation, and community engagement across varied cultural and ecological settings
- Excellent communication, proposal writing, and project management skills
- Ability to perform climate-related research and apply insights to practical project implementations
