The Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) is seeking to hire a research assistant/analyst for its Foreign Policy and Security Studies vertical. The candidate will play a vital role in supporting our research initiatives and contributing to the development of innovative thought in the field of international relations and foreign policy, on climate change and energy transitions.
They will work closely with our team of experts and contribute to research projects that inform policy decisions and address critical global climate and energy cooperation challenges.
The focus will be on India’s international climate diplomacy strategies on climate finance, analysing policy around bilateral, multilateral and trilateral engagement, state capacity for climate engagement and global supply chains with a focus on critical minerals.
The candidate is expected to have the ability to conduct thorough literature reviews and synthesise information from various sources. They are also expected to be able to do some programmatic coordination for non-research, programmatic activities.
