CSEP is looking for a motivated and hardworking postgraduate from the Economics and Urban domain interested in policy-relevant research in urban economics and finance. 

Key Responsibilities

• Independently undertake primary and secondary research for a given research question, following both quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Contribute to the writing of working papers, discussion papers, policy briefs and reports.
• Contribute to internal and external events organised by CSEP in the domain of economic growth and urbanisation. Work with the CSEP Events and Communication teams for the same.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Postgraduate degree preferably in Economics with up-to 2 years of work experience.
2. A keen desire and ability to pursue inter-disciplinary high-quality research across economics, finance and urban studies.
3. Be proficient in MS Excel. Have a working knowledge of Stata/R.
4. Be a quick learner, and explore and learn new skill sets. For example, working with unit level datasets from NSSO and work on GIS/QGIS platforms.
