Position Description

The Language and Learning Foundation (LLF) is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Creative Communications Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead our social media and website presence, drive the development of creative communication strategies, and enhance LLF's digital footprint to amplify our impact in the development sector.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy and Management

Content Development: Create engaging and informative social media posts for various platforms to enhance audience engagement.

Trend Awareness: Leverage current social media trends, particularly those relevant to the development sector, to boost LLF's online visibility.

Audience Engagement: Engage with the target audience to ensure active community interaction and quick response times on all platforms.

Visual Content Creation: Use design tools and video editing software to produce compelling reels and visual content.

2. Content Creation and Thought Leadership

Content Development: Produce high-quality written and visual content for communication materials, such as newsletters, reports, and LLF-specific resources.

Thought Leadership: Write thought-provoking blog posts on LinkedIn and other platforms to position LLF as a thought leader in the education and development sector.



 

3. Creative Strategy and Brand Enhancement

Communication Strategy: Support the development and execution of creative communication strategies that strengthen LLF's brand identity and messaging.

Innovation: Infuse creativity into messaging, visuals, and content to ensure the relevance and appeal of LLF’s communications.

4. Collaboration and Feedback Integration

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights for content development.

Adaptability: Adapt communication strategies based on stakeholder feedback to maximize relevance and impact.

 

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (required).

Advanced degree or specialization in Development Studies or a relevant discipline (preferred).

Experience

7-9 years of proven experience in content creation, social media management, or communications.

Experience as a brand manager in the FMCG sector, an account manager in an advertising agency, or a communications lead within the development sector or related industries.

Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms, develop effective content strategies, and produce high-quality written and visual content for diverse audiences.

Skills Required

Exceptional English copywriting skills (must) and Hindi copywriting skills (desirable), with the ability to tailor content for different social media platforms and audiences.

Proficiency in content creation and management for all social media platforms and websites.

  1. Proficiency in design and media tools, including:

Design software (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or similar).

Mass mailer software (like Mailchimp or similar).

Basic video editing tools (mobile/desktop) and experience in creating multimedia content.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.
