Key Responsibilities:
- Research and development for new programs and external partnerships.
- Development and incubation of operational plans and pilots for new initiatives.
- Use structured problem-solving and analytical frameworks to identify problem areas, develop hypotheses, and drive to insightful recommendations.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data, insights, and perspectives for strategic planning.
- Support the development of long-term strategic plans and annual operating plans in alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives, identify potential risks and roadblocks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present reports on the status and impact of strategic initiatives to key stakeholders.
- Support the development of business cases for new strategic initiatives, including financial and operational feasibility assessments.
- Contribute to the development and execution of change management strategies to support the adoption of new initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders relevant to strategic initiatives.
- Support the identification and evaluation of potential strategic alliances, partnerships, and collaborations, providing actionable recommendations.
- Development and maintenance of KPIs with a focus on measuring the impact and success of strategic initiatives.
- Commission projects from third parties to meet agreed objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or a related field OR a relevant post-graduate degree in the development sector.
- 10-12 years of experience in the social sector.
- Strong knowledge of the social sector.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
