Inspired by Amul’s cooperative model, we aim to create an ecosystem where impact meets innovation—building technology that serves both businesses and communities. With a growing team of 40+ people, we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to help us scale and lead our technology efforts.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in shaping our technology stack, ensuring our backend infrastructure is scalable, secure, and high-performing. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and contribute to mission-driven projects.

• Architect and develop scalable backend solutions.
• Design and maintain APIs for seamless integration.
• Optimize system performance, security, and reliability.
• Work closely with frontend and product teams to bring ideas to life.
• Implement best coding practices and review code to ensure quality.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to enhance our backend stack.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering a strong learning culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture & APIs.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (a plus).
• Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for using technology to create meaningful impact.

📌 Compensation
As a nonprofit, our salaries are lower than corporate roles, with many senior members choosing to take a 60-80% pay cut to align with our mission.
