About the Organisation:
Lighthouse Communities Foundation works in the area of skilling and livelihoods for underserved youth.
This is a pioneering program with a strong PPP model, an agency-led approach to livelihoods, and a vision of
socio-economic transformation. The Lighthouses are run through a public-private partnership that
empowers the Government, Corporates, NGOs, and Citizens to work together towards changing lives. The
provision of location and capital expenditure for the Lighthouse centres is taken care of by the Government.
Corporates contribute through CSR funds to provide operational expenses. NGOs come on board to provide
various skilling courses to the youth. With penetration in more than 400 of the 500-odd slum communities
of Pune, the program has now expanded to other cities, viz. PCMC, Dombivali, Aurangabad, and also the
States viz. Delhi, Odisha, and Hyderabad.

About the role:
The Kaushalyam Mission Head will be responsible for the goal of impacting 35000 youth over the next 3
years in the Pimpri Chinchwad area. They will be responsible for program outcomes by deploying effective
program strategies. They will also manage stakeholder relationships with Government, Donor, Ecosystem
partners for skilling and placements. They will ensure that the agenda “ No Youth Left Behind” is met and
youth are offered livelihood services as per their needs.
Your role in supplementing the Organisational goals:
a. Execution of Key Programme Priorities:
i. Drive the KPIs in order to achieve the annual targets
ii. High-quality execution of Kaushalyam program priorities by managing the program team,
iii. Driving the execution to enhance the efficiency, quality, and scalability of our program, and
meeting our organizational targets and commitments. Serve as a champion for focus and
excellence.
b. Inspire and coach the programme team: Inspire and coach the program team to enhance their
collective performance. Provide support and hold team members accountable for achieving their
numbers, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined to optimize program
outcomes. Build on existing program monitoring systems and dashboards to promote a data-driven
learning culture, concentrating on key priorities. Leverage insights and ideas from the team to drive
improvements, while also mentoring and guiding your team members to support their individual
professional growth.
c. Drive the optimization of program delivery by identifying and experimenting with new methods to
enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability. This may involve incremental improvements or major
innovations. Collaborate closely with the senior management to strategically prioritize and
implement the most impactful ideas.
d. Manage relationships with the government and key partners by actively engaging and
collaborating with them.
e. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with HR, department heads, and program leaders.
Key Requirements:
a. Master’s Degree in Social Work or Development Studies.
b. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management or leadership roles within
the youth development sector or NGOs.
c. Has a proven track record of effectively leading and executing through a team.
d. Utilizes data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
e. Excels in planning and project management.

Additional Requirements:
● Fluent in Hindi, English, and Marathi
● Willing to commit to the role for at least 2-3 years.
● Available for program-related travel.
