Fellowship

Duration of the fellowship: 2 Years
Base location of the fellows: Samastipur, Bihar
Stipend: 20,000/month

Eligibility criteria:

• 
  Age- 18 to 28 years
• 
  Qualification- Minimum bachelor’s degree required.
• 
  Applicants must have completed their graduation.
• 
  Applicants can not pursue any other course or degree during Fellowship.
• 
  Applicants must be ready to give full-time commitment to the fellowship. 
• The iDiscover fellowship is a two-year long fellowship and the selected fellows will be expected to resign from their current employment.

Roles and Responsibilities

School:

• 
  Facilitate the comprehensive growth of children, emphasizing language, mathematics, and life skills.
• 
  Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor and map children's progress.
• 
  Collaborate with classroom teachers through demonstrations and workshops to support effective interventions.
• 
  Lead "Hausla," 21-day well-being for self and teachers.
• 
  To create their allotted schools as the centre of excellence.

Community:

Bridge the gap between schools and communities through Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), School Management Committees (SMCs), home visits, and community immersion activities.

Self-Capacity Areas:

• 
  Engage in daily reflection writings to foster personal growth and self-awareness.
• 
  Participate in reading sessions, large group meetings, and debriefs to enhance learning and exchange insights.
• 
  Actively participate in capacity-building sessions, workshops, and regular reviews for continuous self-improvement.

Skills Required:

• 
  Understanding of Google Documents, Excel, and other Google tools.
• 
  Passion for working with children and youth.
• 
  Eagerness to pursue continuous learning and personal development.
• 
  Adaptive approach to lifestyle changes and challenges.
• 
  Ability to take initiative and collaborate effectively as a team player.
• 
  Ready to work on self-growth, learn, unlearn and relearn.
